The Young Farmers’ Federation of Uganda, UNYFA, is set to support 800 young farmers across 8 Districts in Uganda namely; Masaka, Mubende, Ssembabule, Nakasongola, Jinja, Kamuli, Buyende and Iganga.
This followed a new collaboration as we joined We Effect as a new implementing partner, launching a 3-year programme 2025-2028.
The Strengthening Food Rights & Livelihoods programme is designed to support the realisation of the right to food for women, young people, and children, while building community resilience and fostering equitable, sustainable food systems.
Through the Resilient Young Farmers Initiative for Sustainability & Empowerment Project (RISE), 800 young farmers across 8 districts will benefit from strengthened youth-led agriculture, enhanced climate resilience, and inclusive markets.
