For the last five years, the IYFEP program has and still promotes education, training and exposure among young farmers through hands-on experience and cultural integration between Uganda and Germany. Thus far, 93 Ugandans have directly been impacted by the program, while 43 German interns have been to Ugandan farms for an exposure of their lifetime. Project areas. Country Wide.

 

Through the ABC competition that was organized for the fourth cohort, the program saw three young farmers benefit with cash prizes of 3000 Euros, 2000 Euros, and 1000 Euros for Laura Nakigozi, Tom Gashali and James Bakkabulindi respectively. With the money, they were able to boost productivity at their farms.

Towards social justice in Uganda, driven by inclusive and sustainable family entrepreneurship worldwide (DGD – Trias) 5 years

The DGD program is a tripartite arrangement between UNYFA, TRIAS and Andreas Harmes Akademie (AHA). The program is a 5-year project (2022-2026) with an overall out reach of empowering and supporting 1000 young Agriprenuers within their agribusiness enterprises and further foster their competitiveness within the agribusiness space through Lobby and advocacy.  Project areas, Central, West Nile, and Rwenzori region.
