The Chief Executive Officer, Young Farmers’ Federation of Uganda (UNYFA) engaged a team of journalists from Nation Media Group on the government’s initiative to register coffee value chain actors nation wide.
Yesterday, the Uganda Coffee Development authority in collaboration with the Ministry of agriculture, animal industry and fisheries launched the national registration of coffee value chain actors by the Minister, MAAIF, Hon Frank Tumwebaze following the European Union Deforestation Regulation before December 30, 2024.
Speaking on behalf of young farmers, Denis urged the government to sensitive the farmers on the benefits of this registration.
He further called upon the European Union to support the Ugandan government with the necessary equipment to successfully carryout this exercise.
