Although women farmers are faced with many challenges such as limited access to finance and land, the president of the German Association of Rural Women, Petra Bentkämper, asked women to be part of decision makers and decision-making processes in order to demand for their fair share.
“Wage differences often go unnoticed because there is no transparency in the whole payment process. To correct that, women have to be present in all decision- making processes in order to demand for their share,” she said.
