Ms Christine Namusoke, a farmer from Masaka under the Twekolere women’s group who recently participated in our international rural women’s exchange programme, is using briquettes to brood poultry, which proves to be a better alternative instead of charcoal stoves.
This is her transfer idea project she is implementing in her community after receiving an initial start-up capital from the German Association of Rural Women.
