Under the Youth Empowerment and Participation in Policy and Development project (YEPPAD), 30 selected youth leaders from the districts of Madi-Okollo, Zombo, and Nebbi received training on how to use the Farmer Advocacy tool (FACT).

The FACT tool’s practical use will facilitate identifying and compiling important concerns at the community level. The youth leaders will be assisted in conducting community consultations.
Through the assistance of various partners led by the Africa Youth Development Link (AYDL), these concerns will be combined and utilized in the co-creation of a Youth Manifesto. The goal of this procedure is to guarantee that young people’s opinions are fairly represented in policy debates both during and after the election.
