The Chief Executive Officer of the Young Farmers’ Federation of Uganda (UNYFA), Denis Kabiito has tipped youth to invest in agribusiness. He made these remarks during his visit to the young farmers’ stall at the jinja show grounds in the 30th National agricultural show under the theme, “Innovating pathways to farm business led Agro-industrialization.”

Denis had an opportunity to learn from these agripreneurs’ innovations across our District Young farmers’ Associations.

He commended UNYFA’s stall which showcased key products and how they can be enhanced to quickly generate income and tap into market opportunities for young people.

“Our tent demonstrates the potential for youth to contribute to every stage of the value chain, as long as it’s profitanable. Initially, we faced challenges in attracting exhibitors and sometimes had to cover their costs. I’m impressed to see our tent full with exhibitors who have invested in their own growth, eager to promote their businesses, and networking while generating revenue,” said Kabiito.

He added, “I advise all youth countrywide to visit the show since it provides them with ingenuity and the courage to invest and attract others in the agribusiness space by seeing and learning from those doing it here.
